Every project is different. The expectation is the same.
Systems need to work together, perform reliably, and scale over time. We deliver integrated low-voltage solutions that bring access control, surveillance, structured cabling, and AV into one environment.
Where we work
Data centers
Downtime isn't an option. Access control, surveillance, structured cabling, and environmental monitoring on a single platform, built for continuous operation.
Federal government
Systems designed to meet strict federal compliance and operational requirements, where downtime is not acceptable.
State government
Integrated infrastructure for secure operations, communication, and long-term scalability across facilities.
Municipal
Solutions that adapt across city halls, public works, and shared spaces, with consistency and scalability.
Healthcare
Technology that supports both safety and experience: monitoring, communication, and daily operations, all in compliance.
Higher education
Connected platforms across security, infrastructure, and AV that support safety and campus-wide connectivity.
K-12
Student safety plus a connected learning environment, without adding complexity for staff. Recent work includes district-wide security and low-voltage projects for Central Texas districts, including Austin ISD and San Marcos CISD.
Financial
Protect assets while supporting daily operations, aligned with regulatory demands.
Utilities
Resilient, secure systems that protect essential services and critical infrastructure.
Transportation
Constant awareness and coordination across stations, hubs, and distribution facilities.
Manufacturing
Security without disrupting production, with visibility across critical areas.
Global accounts
Standardized, repeatable deployments that unify security, network, and AV across every site.
Why AK Technologies
Our focus is not just on security. It is on delivering integrated low-voltage solutions that reduce complexity, eliminate gaps between systems, and support real-world operations from day one.
From design through installation, one team owns the whole scope.

Which industries does AK Technologies serve?
Data centers, federal, state, and municipal government, healthcare, higher education, K-12, financial, utilities, transportation, manufacturing, and global accounts, across Austin and Central Texas.
Do you work with school districts?
Yes. Recent work includes district-wide security and low-voltage projects for Central Texas districts, including Austin ISD and San Marcos CISD. Districts can purchase under Texas DIR cooperative contract DIR-CPO-6165 with a quote and a purchase order rather than running their own solicitation.
Can public entities buy without running a bid?
Eligible entities purchase through the Texas DIR Cooperative Contracts Program, where the competitive procurement has already been performed by DIR. Each purchasing office still owns the final call on method and local policy.
Does the approach change by industry?
The systems overlap; the constraints do not. A data center is about layered authorization and audit trails, a hospital is about zoning public and restricted areas in one building, and a school district is about a summer window and a small facilities team. The design follows the constraint, not a template.
