Field Technical Lead
What you'll do
- Install access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systems on commercial sites
- Terminate, label, and test devices and panels to AK standards
- Read schematics and device schedules; keep as-builts current
- Work construction sites alongside a lead tech, with direct client contact
What we're looking for
- 6+ months of hands-on low-voltage or security field experience
- Comfortable on ladders and lifts, in mechanical rooms and ceilings
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Manufacturer certifications (Lenel, Brivo, Gallagher, Axis) a plus. We train.
AV Engineer (CTS-D req)
Key responsibilities
- Design commercial AV systems: audio, video, control, and conferencing
- Review subcontracts, specifications, and drawings to set the basis of design
- Produce signal flow diagrams, rack elevations, riser diagrams, and equipment lists
- Catch drawing conflicts early and submit RFIs before submittals
- Prepare complete submittal packages per contract requirements
Required
- CTS-D certification
- 3+ years of commercial AV system design
- Commercial GC project experience
- Strong Q-SYS experience
- Strong networking skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio, or similar
Project Manager
Key responsibilities
- Manage assigned projects from sales handoff through final acceptance and closeout
- Review contracts, drawings, and estimates for scope gaps and risks
- Manage budgets, labor costs, change orders, and billing with accounting
- Coordinate with general contractors, customers, engineers, subcontractors, and field crews
Required
- Minimum five years of commercial low-voltage, electronic security, or AV project management experience
- Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and submittals
- Experience managing schedules, budgets, and change orders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
